Living is a creative act.
I talk about intimacy a lot.
For me, intimacy is synonymous with honesty; seeing things as they are and not needing anything to be some other way. Learning to build an intimate relationship with yourself, with others, and with existence itself, dramatically reduces the suffering of feeling burdened by the monotony of our daily lives.
At its root it is this internal inquiry:
What is required of me in order to be a full YES to life? All aspects of life, and not just the ones that align to my preferences and opinions? How can I open *more* to myself, the people I’m surrounded by, and the world I live in?
This is especially relevant right now, when the world is giving us plenty of reason to close off, numb ourselves, ignore the pain we are seeing everywhere, and alienate the people we once felt close to.
Being a YES to life doesn’t mean spiritually bypassing, ignoring your boundaries (or someone else’s), or subjecting ourselves to severity and atrocity in the name of growth. It means ceasing to harm *yourself* by closing your heart when you experience pain, discomfort, disagreement, and challenge.
There is an art and a skill to learning to live in this way. And it is my experience that the tools offered in my Unbound program directly support us in making living a creative act, and one that is rooted in love, rather than fear and aversion.
The ripple of choosing to orient to life in this way goes far.
Unbound — the foundational training and coaching program I run twice a year — is not just a fantastic opportunity to get to know this work and me, it’s also a beautiful space to discover deeper intimacy. With yourself, with others, and with the divine.
The next cohort begins September 24th, and enrollment is now open. Will you join us?
